Hi there,
Always great to see other writers on their publishing journey. Congratulations on getting your short fiction out there. I’m battling on that front, myself.
Good luck with the novel!
I liked ‘Fallen Star’. I’ve never written a story in present tense, you’re pretty good with it though. Also, nice touching ending.
Thanks! The present tense thing was an odd choice, and I haven’t done it again since then. But, it made the most sense for the story.
I’m so glad you liked it!
Thanks for the follow. I’m going to try to download your stories to my Kindle. It can be a little persnickety so I’m keeping my fingers crossed!

Congratulations on the publication of your story, “The Cost of Rain.” After you mentioned it this morning at Willamette Writers, I went to corvidqueen.com and read it. You’ve constructed a vivid landscape, full of tough choices. I am impressed with the intensity of a this tale, which you managed to tell in a very concise, concentrated way.
Excellent writing!
Dayle! Thank you so much for reading and finding me here. I’m glad you enjoyed it, and thank you for such a wonderfully specific comment! 🙂
