My tears were flowing from the first 2 words. What a beautiful story, Your papa must have been a wonderful man to leave such a stamp on your heart. I couldn’t be more proud of you.No wonder I see so little of you, you are one busy girl. I love you.
Nice to meet you!
I don’t know if you’ve seen my blog recently, but you are one of the four winners from my competition.
If you’d just let me know what sort of file type you’d like (.mobi or .epub) I’ll have a copy of Vicki & Lara sent out to you on or around 13 October 2013.
Thanks again for commenting on my blog. Interaction means everything!
That’s awesome! Thanks, Ileandra!
I’ll be the first to admit I don’t know much about ebooks, or computers, but .epub is compatible with iBooks, right? Probably should go with that one, haha!
Excellent, then that’s what I’ll do for you. 🙂
The file is ready for you. 🙂
Just let me know where to send it and I’ll do that for you ASAP!
Shoot it on over to LPBZ89@hotmail.com! Thanks Ileandra!
Will do! Leave it with me. 🙂
Hello, thank you for visiting my blog; it is very nice to meet you here, and share. I wish you the best on your journey as a writer.
Thanks for swinging by!
Always great to see other writers on their publishing journey. Congratulations on getting your short fiction out there. I’m battling on that front, myself.
Good luck with the novel!
I liked ‘Fallen Star’. I’ve never written a story in present tense, you’re pretty good with it though. Also, nice touching ending.
Thanks! The present tense thing was an odd choice, and I haven’t done it again since then. But, it made the most sense for the story.
I’m so glad you liked it!
Thanks for the follow. I’m going to try to download your stories to my Kindle. It can be a little persnickety so I’m keeping my fingers crossed!

Congratulations on the publication of your story, “The Cost of Rain.” After you mentioned it this morning at Willamette Writers, I went to corvidqueen.com and read it. You’ve constructed a vivid landscape, full of tough choices. I am impressed with the intensity of a this tale, which you managed to tell in a very concise, concentrated way.
Dayle! Thank you so much for reading and finding me here. I’m glad you enjoyed it, and thank you for such a wonderfully specific comment! 🙂
